About the GAIA IT Academy
GAIA proudly introduces one of its most transformative initiatives—the launch of the GAIA IT Academy in Ghana, starting December 2026. This academy is built to accelerate Africa’s digital empowerment and nurture the next generation of tech leaders between the ages of 14 and 35.The academy focuses on:
- Software engineering & coding
- Artificial Intelligence & Data Sciences
- Fintech innovation
- IoT & emerging technologies
- Consultancy, Entrepreneurship & (tech) leadership
Objective:
Our goal is to establish a world-class outsourcing, offshoring, and AI Solutions (AIS) facilities that connect Ghana’s talent directly to the IT needs of Western companies. This positions Ghana as a globally competitive outsourcing destination while creating new employment, innovation, and digital transformation opportunities.

Despite its progress, Ghana still faces a major technology gap: less than 15% of Ghanaians own a computer. In contrast, computer ownership in countries like the Netherlands exceeds 90%. GAIA is stepping in to bridge this digital divide with:
